Public Satisfaction with Prabowo’s Performance Boosts Government Morale
JAKARTA, investortrust.id – The Indonesian government has welcomed the latest survey results indicating high public satisfaction with President Prabowo Subianto and his Merah Putih Cabinet in their first 100 days in office. According to surveys conducted by Litbang Kompas and Indikator Politik Indonesia, public satisfaction levels stood at 80.9% and 79.3%, respectively.
“These results reflect the people's trust and support for the steps taken by the government in executing its national priority agenda,” said Yusuf Permana, Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media at the Presidential Secretariat, in a written statement on Wednesday, Jan 29, 2025.

A Catalyst for Improved Performance
Yusuf emphasized that these survey findings serve as a driving force for the government to further enhance its performance.
“This level of public satisfaction is both a motivation and a responsibility. The government must work even smarter, harder, and more consistently while remaining innovative in meeting public expectations and improving people's welfare,” he stated.
During its first 100 days, President Prabowo has implemented several strategic policies, including intensifying anti-corruption efforts. Additionally, the government has launched the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program, aimed at improving the quality of life, particularly for younger generations. However, Yusuf acknowledged that much work remains to be done.
“The government will not be complacent or satisfied with these survey results. We will continue strengthening inter-agency coordination, maintaining political stability, enhancing transparency, improving efficiency and accountability, and ensuring that every policy prioritizes the people's interests,” he asserted.
Public Trust in the Prabowo Administration
The high public approval rating for President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka in their first 100 days is noteworthy. The Litbang Kompas survey found that 80.9% of respondents were satisfied with the Prabowo-Gibran administration’s performance. Moreover, public confidence in their leadership reached 89.4%.
This approval rating is the highest recorded in surveys assessing public sentiment toward a new administration. As a comparison, a January 2015 survey on President Joko Widodo’s first 100 days showed a public satisfaction rate of 65.1%.
Analysts attribute the high approval rating to Prabowo and Gibran’s leadership style and governance outcomes. The survey indicates that most respondents perceive Prabowo’s leadership as people-oriented, further reinforced by his firm and decisive approach.
Similarly, Indikator Politik Indonesia’s survey conducted ahead of the administration’s 100-day mark found that 79.3% of respondents were satisfied with President Prabowo’s leadership. Only 16.3% expressed mild dissatisfaction, while 0.6% reported being completely dissatisfied.
Prabowo’s satisfaction rating surpasses that of Joko Widodo’s first term in 2014, reflecting strong public confidence in the new administration’s direction.
