JAKARTA, Investortrust.id — Kadin Indonesia prepared to open the National Leadership Meeting 2025 by building public momentum through a large scale Fun Walk in central Jakarta that drew an estimated 25,000 people. Chairman Anindya Novyan Bakrie said the morning event illustrated how community economic activity complemented the chamber’s broader policy agenda for the year.
He said the central focus of the meeting, called Rapimnas 2025 in Indonesians, would be job creation, which he viewed as the most direct pathway to lifting household income and strengthening national resilience. He explained that Kadin aimed to accelerate employment opportunities across sectors while supporting government efforts to boost purchasing power.
Anindya said higher employment absorption and improved consumer spending would help Indonesia achieve its long term growth aspiration of 8 percent by 2029. He noted that the Fun Walk reflected how public events stimulated economic circulation, from vendors to transport and services, reinforcing the chamber’s efforts ahead of the national meeting.
He added that Kadin would work closely with the government to ensure that rising purchasing power translated into broader welfare gains. He highlighted that increased consumer strength supported overall economic rotation, referencing the activity generated around the Fun Walk.
Rapimnas 2025 was scheduled to bring together representatives from 38 provinces and hundreds of business associations to determine strategic targets for the coming year. Delegates were set to discuss employment generation, consumer purchasing power, business climate improvements, and partnership programs with the government.
Kadin had held several preparatory sessions before Rapimnas, including the Forum of Extraordinary Members on Friday, to align provincial and sectoral priorities. The organization said the discussions would help sharpen the formal agenda once the meeting convened on December 1.
