Anindya Bakrie Officially Inaugurated as Chairman of Kadin Indonesia
JAKARTA, Investortrust.id – Anindya Novyan Bakrie has been officially appointed as chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, or Kadin, after receiving the Kadin flag during a ceremonial handover led by Rosan Roeslani, chairman of Kadin’s Honorary Council, and Arsjad Rasyid, chairman of Kadin’s Advisory Council.
The ceremony, held after a plenary session chaired by Aziz Syamsuddin, Kadin’s Deputy Chairman for Legal and Human Rights, symbolized unity within the organization.
Upon receiving the Kadin flag, Anindya expressed his gratitude to Kadin members for their trust and solidarity. “I hope to fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to me. Thank you for your confidence,” said Anindya at the Ritz Carlton in South Jakarta on Thursday, January 16, 2025.
President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to attend the National Consolidation Meeting of Kadin Indonesia to formally inaugurate Anindya as chairman for the 2024–2029 term.
This transition follows calls for greater unity within Kadin, which plays a strategic role as a government partner in implementing national programs. Rosan Roeslani emphasized the importance of collaboration during his remarks, underscoring Kadin’s role as a pivotal force in driving economic initiatives.
The appointment of Anindya, a prominent business figure in Indonesia, reflects a renewed focus on strengthening public-private partnerships and fostering economic growth. His leadership is expected to align closely with the government’s strategic objectives, including expanding investment opportunities and boosting the nation’s global economic standing.
