JAKARTA, investortrust.id – Anindya Novyan Bakrie, the chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, or Kadin, has reaffirmed the organization's commitment to serving as a strategic partner to the government, pledging full support for the programs of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
Under the mandate of Law No. 1 of 1987, which defines Kadin's role as a unifying body for the business community, Anindya expressed confidence in the organization's ability to fulfill its duties effectively under his leadership.
"Kadin is a large vessel, and together, we will ensure it functions as intended," Anindya stated during the National Consolidation Conference held at the Ritz Carlton in Jakarta on Thursday, January 16, 2025.
Anindya outlined several priority initiatives aligned with the government's agenda, including the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program and the ambitious plan to build 3 million affordable housing units across Indonesia.

As a strategic partner, Anindya called on Kadin members nationwide to collaborate and contribute to the success of these initiatives.
"President Prabowo’s programs present enormous opportunities for participation, particularly in food security and nutritious meals," Anindya explained. "The plan to establish 11,000 community kitchens as part of the food supply chain is truly remarkable."
He also highlighted the scope of the housing program, which aims to construct 2 million homes annually, with a focus on rural areas and 1 million units in urban settings. "Each house is 36 square meters, uses 4,500 bricks, and provides opportunities for up to 150 vendors per project," he noted.
