Real Estate Leader Rusmin Lawin Named SNPI Global Country Ambassador for Indonesia

PARIS, Investortrust.id — SNPI Global, the international arm of France’s Syndicat National des Professionnels Immobiliers (SNPI), has appointed veteran Indonesian real estate leader Rusmin Lawin as its Country Ambassador for Indonesia on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026.

Rusmin currently holds a global leadership role as a member of the Board of Directors of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) and serves as President for the federation's Asia Pacific region for the 2022–2026 tenure.

The formal nomination was extended by Alain Duffoux, President of SNPI Global, commending Rusmin’s professional acumen, industry stewardship, and ongoing commitment to raising operational standards in the property sector.

The appointment strengthens institutional conduits between Southeast Asia’s largest property market and European capital networks. As foreign interest in Indonesian commercial property, industrial logistics, and urban transit developments deepens, having a direct diplomatic channel within a prominent European federation enhances cross-border transactional visibility, aligns local operators with international compliance benchmarks, and accelerates bilateral investment flows.

Established in France in 1960, SNPI ranks among Europe’s foremost professional real estate federations, representing more than 14,000 member firms. The organization established SNPI Global to scale its institutional mission across continents by advancing professional qualifications, facilitating cross-border partnerships, and cultivating ethical transaction standards worldwide.

In his capacity as Country Ambassador, Rusmin is charged with serving as the primary liaison connecting domestic industry players with SNPI Global’s worldwide network. His operational mandate centers on exchanging comprehensive research, transaction trends, and legal updates regarding the Indonesian property sector to cultivate mutual cross-border understanding while enhancing the brand presence and institutional standing of SNPI Global nationwide. Furthermore, he is tasked with expanding SNPI Global’s footprint in Southeast Asia by recruiting qualified corporate members and practitioners into the alliance, alongside championing strict adherence to the organization's ethical governance frameworks across all professional undertakings.

In his formal appointment letter, President Alain Duffoux highlighted the strategic necessity of establishing reliable market liaisons across key emerging markets.

"This nomination recognizes your professional expertise, leadership, and commitment to excellence in the real estate sector," Duffoux wrote in the official notification. "Your role as a Country Ambassador is vital to strengthening our international network and expanding SNPI Global’s reach."

Duffoux noted that Rusmin's regional visibility will be pivotal in translating cross-border objectives into concrete business ties.

"Through your efforts, you will serve as a bridge between your local market and our global network, fostering collaboration, professional excellence, and the values that define SNPI Global," Duffoux added.

The diplomatic designation provides Indonesian developers, agencies, and real estate professionals direct integration into broader global bodies. SNPI is an active constituent member of the European Association of Real Estate Professions (CEPI) and serves as an Industry Partner to the International Multiple Listing Service (MLS) Forum. The affiliation gives Indonesian stakeholders structured access to European market intelligence, joint ventures, and international capacity-building programs.
