Prabowo’s First 100 Days: Public Satisfaction Reaches Record High at 80.9%
JAKARTA, investortrust.id – A survey by Litbang Kompas revealed that 80.9% of Indonesians are satisfied with the first 100 days of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka’s administration. The survey also indicated strong public confidence in the government, with 89.4% expressing optimism.
The public’s approval rating of the Prabowo-Gibran administration marks the highest recorded satisfaction level for a first 100-day review. For comparison, a similar survey conducted in January 2015 for President Joko Widodo’s administration showed a 65.1% satisfaction rate.
The high approval rating is attributed to the administration’s results-driven leadership and pro-people policies. Respondents highlighted Prabowo’s decisive leadership style combined with a focus on grassroots-oriented initiatives as a key factor in gaining public trust.
Security and politics received the highest approval, with 85.8% satisfaction, up 0.3% from June 2024. Social welfare initiatives were rated highly at 83.7%, while public confidence in legal reforms rose significantly to 72.1%, a 14.7% increase from the previous survey. In the economic sector, satisfaction climbed to 74.5%, an improvement of 9.4% since June 2024.
Approval ratings were strongest among lower-income groups (84.7%), followed by lower-middle-income groups (81.4%), middle-upper-income groups (75.3%), and upper-income groups (67.9%). The survey was conducted between Jan. 4 and Jan. 10, 2025, through face-to-face interviews with 1,000 respondents across Indonesia’s 38 provinces. The survey has a 95% confidence level and a margin of error of ±3.1%.

He also emphasized the importance of maintaining public confidence by addressing challenges in program execution, such as ensuring transparency in the management of free meal programs and clarifying the criteria for debt elimination for MSMEs.
Prabowo’s Response
President Prabowo expressed gratitude to the Kabinet Merah Putih for their hard work, noting their commitment even during public holidays. Speaking after inaugurating 26 power plants in Sumedang, Prabowo emphasized that the government’s efforts are focused on delivering tangible benefits for the public.
“Our objective is clear: to eliminate poverty, hunger, and improve the prosperity of all Indonesians. We will pursue this transformation with urgency and determination,” Prabowo stated.
While acknowledging areas for improvement, Prabowo reiterated his commitment to reducing the cost of living, citing the recent reduction in pilgrimage costs as an example of the administration’s dedication to efficiency and public welfare.
