JAKARTA, Investortrust.id — Kadin Indonesia chairman Anindya Bakrie endorsed President Prabowo Subianto’s Indonesia Incorporated strategy on Friday, Feb 13, 2026 in Jakarta to unite government and business in pursuit of stronger economic growth as the administration targets up to 8% expansion by 2029, a move expected to deepen collaboration across key sectors and expand global market access. The message was delivered at the Indonesia Economic Outlook 2026 at Wisma Danantara.
Anindya said the presence of business leaders at the forum reflected the government’s openness in engaging the private sector. He described the inclusion of entrepreneurs as a positive signal of confidence from the administration.
“First of all, we thank the President because the business community is involved. This shows confidence from the government and openness in communication,” Anindya said on the sidelines of the event.
He noted that Prabowo had emphasized the resilience of Indonesia’s economic fundamentals and the progress of flagship programs such as the free nutritious meal initiative, Red and White Fishermen Village, and Red and White Village Cooperative. Efficiency measures in bureaucracy were also highlighted as freeing fiscal space for more productive uses.
“For us in the business world, it is encouraging when bureaucracy becomes more efficient because the funds can be used for other productive purposes. We are also reassured that law enforcement continues while businesses are given room to work,” he said.
Anindya added that Indonesia’s position as one of the fastest-growing economies in the Group of Twenty should be leveraged, particularly through agriculture and labor-intensive industries. He pointed to footwear, garments, textiles, furniture, and electronics as sectors with strong export potential and high employment absorption.
He also stressed the importance of reindustrialization to maintain job absorption while increasing the share of industry in gross domestic product. According to him, broader market access to the European Union, Canada, Eurasia, and the United States would strengthen competitiveness.

Collective national rise
Prabowo described Indonesia Incorporated as a national strategy rooted in mutual cooperation. He said Indonesia would remain open to foreign investment while honoring all international agreements made by previous administrations.
“We respect all agreements of previous governments. We are open to investment from anywhere, and we are confident we will rise convincingly. I call my strategy Indonesia Incorporated,” Prabowo said.
He explained that the concept meant larger and stronger players would help lift smaller ones, while a clean and fair government would protect the poorest and weakest. “We rise together. Indonesia will not be a sleeping giant, but a giant that stands and builds a better life for its people,” he said.
Prabowo also introduced his vision of Indonesia ASRI, meaning safe, healthy, clean, and beautiful, and urged concrete implementation at village and city levels. He reiterated the government’s commitment to political stability, security, and fiscal credibility, stressing that Indonesia had never defaulted on its obligations.
