The company, legally known as PT IPC Terminal Petikemas, recorded the milestone through sustained service transformation, operational efficiency improvements, and stronger collaboration with shipping lines and logistics stakeholders. The strategy was supported by continuous human capital upgrades to meet rising operational complexity and international standards.

She added that continuous innovation and service expansion underpinned the growth. “Ongoing innovation, service quality improvements, and the launch of several new regular and adhoc services became the main drivers of throughput growth throughout 2025,” Pramestie said.
December 2025 performance also remained solid, with throughput reaching 327,880 TEUs, up 12 percent from December 2024. Domestic containers accounted for 247,153 TEUs, while international containers reached 80,727 TEUs, indicating balanced growth across market segments.
Throughout 2025, IPC TPK served 25 new regular and adhoc shipping services, expanding cargo transport capacity and improving national and international trade connectivity. The expansion supported smoother logistics flows amid rising trade activity.
Operational growth was broad based, with Tanjung Priok rising 13.74 percent, Panjang surging 24.5 percent, Teluk Bayur increasing 16.74 percent, Pontianak growing 7.4 percent, and Palembang up 6.1 percent.
The company performance aligned with national trade momentum, as data from Badan Pusat Statistik showed non oil and gas exports rising 7.07 percent to $244.75 billion, while imports increased 4.37 percent to $188.61 billion, resulting in a $56.15 billion surplus for January to November 2025.
