JAKARTA, Investortrust.id — PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk or CUAN reports on Monday, Jan 12, 2026 in Jakarta that it has identified a gold mineralization zone grading up to 1.27 parts per million in Sumbawa as the company steps up exploration work in eastern Indonesia, a finding that could sharpen its early-stage resource delineation plans. The update comes as CUAN continues core drilling and trenching to test thickness and continuity across multiple prospects.
The Prajogo Pangestu affiliated miner said the work was conducted through its subsidiary PT Intam alongside partners. The company said total exploration spending reached Rp 6.68 billion as of the end of January 2026.
“Exploration was carried out by the PT Intam geologist team, supported by core drilling by contractor PT Geo Inti Sinergy,” CUAN management wrote in its stock exchange disclosure. It added that topo drone LiDAR work involved PT Rifaya Geo Teknologi, while baseline environmental assessments were handled by consultant PT Unitest Presisi Indonesia.
CUAN said geological mapping indicated the Lebin Prospect covered roughly 5 kilometers by 12 kilometers. In that area, the company reported a silica quartz breccia zone up to 16 meters thick containing gold at 1.27 ppm, silver at 1.9 ppm, copper at 15.8 ppm, lead at 2.7 ppm, and zinc at 7.5 ppm.
Beyond surface work, CUAN said it conducted diamond core drilling at the Ledang Prospect across the Batururu and North Batururu areas. As of January 2026, drilling had been completed at 11 locations totaling 1,732.43 meters.
At one hole in Batururu, identified as LDDH024, the company reported a mineralized interval spanning 54.4 meters at a depth of around 285.6 meters. CUAN said it also recorded trenching results in North Batururu showing 4.5 meters with gold grades of 1.6 ppm.
The company said another drill hole indicated an additional mineralized zone 8.55 meters thick associated with quartz breccia and pyrite sulfide minerals, but noted it still required further testing. CUAN said it planned to continue drilling to confirm thickness and continuity of a porphyry-style gold system at Batururu, while extending trenching and additional drilling at North Batururu for initial resource delineation.
