JAKARTA, Investortrust.id — PT Wijaya Karya Tbk or WIKA books Rp 17.43 trillion, or $1.04 billion, in new contracts in 2025 in Jakarta on Wednesday, Jan 7, 2026 as the state builder maintains performance amid industry pressure, reinforcing its role in delivering government priorities under President Prabowo Subianto. The result strengthens the company’s position as a key agent of national development while supporting long term infrastructure and downstream industry goals.
The company said the largest share of new contracts came from the infrastructure and building segment. Projects in this segment included roads, bridges, water resource management, government buildings, and public facilities.
Other segments, including energy and industrial plant engineering, supporting construction industries, property and realty, and investment, also made meaningful contributions. The diversified mix reflected a more balanced and resilient project portfolio.
Throughout 2025, WIKA secured several nationally strategic infrastructure projects aligned with government programs. These projects were designed to deliver broad economic and social benefits across regions.
Key assignments included infrastructure development in the Nusantara Capital City area, the Patimban Toll Road Access Package 2 to strengthen logistics connectivity, and flood control projects in Merauke. Irrigation networks in North Sumatra were also developed to support water security.
The portfolio also covered social infrastructure, such as the People’s School program in West Kalimantan to expand access to education. Healthcare capacity was supported through construction of facilities at Sardjito Hospital in Yogyakarta.
In the energy segment, WIKA undertook the Belawan to Labuhan Batu gas transmission pipeline project. The project was aimed at supporting national industrial downstreaming efforts.
Beyond strategic projects, WIKA carried out social responsibility initiatives, including construction of temporary housing for disaster affected communities in Aceh Tamiang. The company said the project was executed as a rapid response to provide safe and decent shelter during recovery.
The Ministry of Public Works also appointed WIKA to handle emergency post disaster works in Aceh Timur, Aceh Tamiang, and Langsa City. The assignments focused on restoring essential infrastructure following natural disasters.
President Director Agung Budi Waskito said the 2025 contract achievements reflected the company’s consistent transformation. He said the strategy emphasized execution excellence, disciplined risk management, and a cash focused approach.
“The contract acquisition shows sustained stakeholder trust. WIKA will ensure every project is delivered professionally, efficiently, sustainably, and with real benefits to support the government’s Asta Cita agenda,” Agung said in a statement on Tuesday, Jan 6, 2026.
Looking ahead, the company said contract prospects remained solid as the government continued to prioritize infrastructure development, industrial downstreaming, and national connectivity. WIKA said its integrated EPC capabilities and consistent application of environmental, social, and governance principles would support long term value creation.
