PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), the media and digital entertainment company it controls, remained a core strategic focus. The total consideration was estimated at Rp 102.45 billion, equal to about $6.17 million on first mention.
According to the disclosure, trades were executed at prices ranging from Rp 338 to Rp 401 per share. After the latest series of trades, Emtek’s ownership rose from 67.20 percent to 67.55 percent, reinforcing the group’s long term commitment to the television and digital platforms operated under SCMA.
The rationale, inferred from the steady purchasing pattern and follow on accumulation through the year, pointed to a deliberate consolidation of control within Emtek’s media portfolio. The gradual approach also suggested disciplined execution across liquidity windows along the price band cited in the disclosure.
