BEI Suspends Trading of KRAS and DKHH Amid Unusual Price Movements
Main Takeaways
JAKARTA, investortrust.id – The Indonesia Stock Exchange, or IDX, has suspended trading of PT Krakatau Steel Tbk (KRAS) and PT Cipta Sarana Medika Tbk (DKHH), including the latter's warrants, effective from the first session on Monday, July 7, 2025. The trading halt came after a sharp surge in KRAS shares over the past month. According to IDX data, KRAS stock jumped more than 139% to Rp 314, making it one of the top gainers last week. The latest suspension marks the second time in just one week that the IDX has halted KRAS trading. The previous suspension on July 1 was part of a cooling-down measure and investor protection effort in response to an abnormal cumulative price increase. Year-to-date, KRAS shares have surged by 196%. In contrast, DKHH shares have been on a steep downward trend. The IDX reported that DKHH has lost 65% of its value over the past three months, falling to Rp 62. Its warrants (DKHH-W) have performed even worse, plunging more than 70% in the past month to just Rp 13. |
