Adiperkasa Sarana Acquires More Emtek (EMTK) Shares in Rp 900 Billion Investment
JAKARTA, investortrust.id – PT Adiperkasa Sarana, an affiliate of Emtek’s controlling shareholder Eddy K Sariaatmadja, has invested Rp 900 billion to acquire an additional 3.66% stake in PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK). The transaction strengthens Adiperkasa Sarana’s position in Emtek and reflects ongoing confidence in the company’s growth prospects.
According to Emtek’s official filing to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025, Adiperkasa Sarana purchased 2.25 billion EMTK shares at Rp 400 per share in a transaction executed on Monday, Feb. 24, 2025.
“The purchase was made for investment purposes, increasing Adiperkasa Sarana’s total ownership in EMTK from 10.43% to 14.09%,” the company stated in its disclosure.
Ownership Structure and Strategic Moves
Following this acquisition, Eddy K Sariaatmadja remains the largest shareholder, controlling 21.89% of EMTK. Meanwhile, Adiperkasa Sarana’s stake has risen to 14.09%, further consolidating its influence in the company. Other shareholders include: Anthoni Salim (8.98%), PT Prisma Visualindo, HSBC Fund, Susanto Suwarto, Piet Yaury, Yuslinda Nasution, and other EMTK management shareholders.
This latest purchase follows Emtek’s ongoing efforts to increase its stake in PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA). Over the past year, Emtek has acquired 990.93 million SCMA shares (1.26% of total shares), boosting its ownership from 60.97% in February 2024 to 62.23% by mid-February 2025.
Emtek’s Increasing Stake in SCMA
Recently, Emtek acquired 76.11 million SCMA shares for Rp 17 billion in two phases: 1.11 million shares at Rp 202 per share on Feb. 11, 2025 and 75 million shares at Rp 221 per share on Feb. 12, 2025. “This acquisition was made for investment purposes under direct ownership, raising Emtek’s stake in SCMA from 62.21% to 62.23%,” Emtek’s management stated.
The steady accumulation of EMTK and SCMA shares underscores Emtek’s long-term strategy to strengthen its media and digital business holdings, positioning itself for sustained growth in Indonesia’s competitive media landscape.
