AEI Hails Best Stock Awards 2025 as Credible Benchmark for Corporate Performance
JAKARTA, investortrust.id - Indonesia’s issuers association lauds the Best Stock Awards 2025, hosted by investortrust.id and Infovesta Utama, as a credible platform to evaluate corporate excellence. Held on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, in Jakarta, the event spotlights companies with robust fundamentals and standout market performance, signaling resilience in a dynamic economic landscape. For business leaders and investors, the awards reinforce confidence in Indonesia’s capital markets amid global uncertainties.
The Asosiasi Emiten Indonesia (AEI), representing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), expressed strong support for the initiative. Executive Director of AEI Gilman Pradana Nugraha delivered the endorsement during his keynote at the event, held at the Hotel Sultan. “This award recognizes firms that not only boast solid business foundations but also excel in the market, which benefits issuers,” he said. The ceremony, a collaboration between investortrust.id—a prominent financial media platform—and Infovesta Utama, a leading investment research firm, drew top executives and analysts.
Gilman traced recent trends in Indonesia’s capital markets, which weathered volatility over the past few years. Despite a stagnant market in 2024, with the benchmark index slipping by about 1%, investor participation surged, growing 22% annually. He attributed this resilience to the enduring strength of corporate fundamentals. “Ultimately, we return to strong business basics. Companies that adapted to technological shifts and boosted efficiency secured better profits and delivered solid dividends to investors,” Gilman told attendees on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025.
Innovation emerged as a central theme. Gilman stressed that rapid industrial changes demanded adaptability and competitiveness, with technology serving as a key driver of operational efficiency and profitability. “We must innovate and strengthen our edge. There’s a clear advantage in doing so,” he added. AEI’s optimism reflected the performance of BEI-listed firms, many of which maintained profitability despite economic headwinds.
The Best Stock Awards 2025 aimed to set a high bar beyond mere recognition. Gilman envisioned it as a yardstick for transparency, good corporate governance, and sustainable strategies—pillars he deemed essential for shareholder value and national economic growth. AEI has long championed these principles, urging listed companies to elevate governance practices. “Investor trust is priceless. With integrity and consistency, Indonesia’s capital markets will grow stronger and attract both domestic and global players,” he asserted.
Looking ahead, Gilman expressed hope that the awards would endure as a rigorous, data-driven evaluation of corporate success. “Winning is tough, but retaining that status is harder. This event should inspire firms to keep growing and contributing to Indonesia’s economy,” he concluded. Organizers emphasized the awards’ transparent selection process, underpinned by valid data, as a foundation for its credibility into the next decade.
