Saratoga Plans IPOs for Four Subsidiaries
JAKARTA, investortrust.id – PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya, a prominent investment firm in Indonesia, has announced its plans to take four subsidiaries public through initial public offerings on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The companies include MGM Bosco Logistics, Surya Energi, ZAP Clinic, and RS Brawijaya, spanning logistics, renewable energy, skincare, and healthcare sectors.
Devin Wirawan, Investment Director at Saratoga, emphasized the firm’s commitment to transitioning these privately held businesses into publicly traded entities. Saratoga, also known by its ticker code SRTG, highlighted the strategic importance of these IPOs.
“MGM Bosco Logistics is one of Indonesia’s largest logistics companies, and Surya Energi is a leader in the country’s solar energy sector,” Wirawan said during a briefing at the IDX headquarters on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025.
He further detailed the operations of ZAP Clinic, a provider of skincare services with over 120 clinics across Indonesia, and RS Brawijaya, a healthcare network that has been a significant focus of Saratoga’s investments since early 2024.
“RS Brawijaya currently operates five hospitals and two clinics. We aim to build two new hospitals annually,” Wirawan added, underlining that all four subsidiaries are strategically positioned to attract stock market investors.
Saratoga’s Track Record in IPO Success
Saratoga’s investment portfolio includes more than 20 companies, with several already listed on the IDX. Among its notable IPO achievements are PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA), PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO), PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA), PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG), and PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk (AGII).
The combined market capitalization of these publicly traded companies reaches approximately IDR 380 trillion (USD 24.8 billion). Over the last six years, Saratoga has tripled its net asset value from IDR 18 trillion to IDR 56 trillion, largely fueled by the robust performance of its public portfolio.
“This remarkable growth reflects the strong performance of our public portfolio,” Wirawan concluded.
