Mirae Asset Highlights BUMN Stocks Offering Up to 10% Dividend Yield in 2025
JAKARTA, investortrust.id – Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia has identified a selection of state-owned enterprises stocks with the potential to deliver dividend yields of up to 10% this year. These attractive dividends position the stocks as compelling options for investors seeking returns.
Handiman Soetoyo, head of proprietary investment at Mirae Asset Sekuritas, noted that the recommended stocks for 2025 include PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI), PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), and PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk (PTBA). These recommendations align with the government’s target to increase SOEs dividend contributions to Rp 90 trillion, up from Rp 86.4 trillion in 2024.
Banking Sector Dominance
According to Handiman, the banking sector remains the key driver of dividend payouts, with major state-owned banks expected to distribute substantial dividends. Listed SOEs are projected to contribute 68.6% of total dividend payments to the state, with the banking sector alone accounting for 57.4%.
- BBRI: Projected dividend of Rp 246 per share, an 8.6% yield, with a payout ratio of 85% of its Rp 61.34 trillion net profit.
- BMRI: Estimated dividend of Rp 364 per share, yielding 6.5%, based on 60% of its Rp 56.63 trillion net profit.
- BBNI: Expected dividend of Rp 297 per share, with a yield of 6.8% and a payout ratio of 50% of its Rp 22.12 trillion net profit.
Infrastructure and Energy Sectors
Outside of banking, key players in infrastructure and energy are also forecasted to deliver strong dividends:
- TLKM: Predicted dividend of Rp 176 per share, yielding 6.6%, representing 72% of its Rp 24.21 trillion net profit.
- PTBA: Expected to distribute Rp 294 per share, a 10.9% yield, based on 75% of its Rp 4.51 trillion net profit.
- PGAS: Anticipated dividend of Rp 177 per share, with a yield of 10.4% and a payout ratio of 80% of its Rp 5.35 trillion net profit.
- ELSA: Projected dividend of Rp 39 per share, yielding 8.7%, with a 40% payout ratio of its Rp 704 billion net profit.
Supporting Government Revenue
In 2024, BUMN dividends contributed Rp 59.28 trillion from listed entities and Rp 27.11 trillion from non-listed entities. Notable contributors included BRI (Rp 25.71 trillion), Mandiri (Rp 17.17 trillion), Telkom (Rp 9.21 trillion), and BNI (Rp 6.27 trillion). Among non-listed entities, MIND ID contributed Rp 11.21 trillion, followed by Pertamina (Rp 9.35 trillion), PLN (Rp 3.09 trillion), and Pupuk Indonesia (Rp 1.21 trillion).
“PTBA, ANTM, TINS, and INCO channel dividends through MIND ID, while PGAS, PGEO, ELSA, and TUGU contribute through Pertamina before the funds reach the government,” Handiman explained.
