JAKARTA, Investortrust.id — PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk, or SILO, has earned international recognition after being named to Newsweek’s World’s Most Trustworthy Companies 2025, in collaboration with global research firm Statista.
Siloam stood out as one of only two Indonesian healthcare providers to secure a place on the list, ranking 24th worldwide in the healthcare category. The ranking covers 1,000 companies across 23 industries and was determined through an independent study involving 65,000 respondents worldwide as well as the analysis of 500,000 global conversations and social media mentions.
The achievement underscored the ability of Indonesian healthcare providers to compete globally. The company highlighted that its medical teams, management, and staff formed the backbone of this recognition.
CEO Caroline Riady said on Wednesday, Sept 17, 2025, that the award was both a source of pride and motivation for the company to further strengthen its services.
“This award shows that Indonesian companies can compete and be recognized internationally. For us, it is both pride and motivation to continue enhancing healthcare services that deliver positive impact to Indonesian society,” she said.
Riady emphasized that trust is the foundation of healthcare, where patients and families entrust not just their health but their lives to medical professionals every day.
“This award is not only recognition but also confirmation that communities, employees, and investors have placed their confidence in Siloam,” she added.
Commitment to innovation and expansion
With this international recognition, Siloam reinforced its reputation as a provider of transparent, ethical, and high-quality healthcare. The company pledged to keep innovating in response to future health challenges, strengthening medical standards, advancing digital health technologies, and expanding its nationwide hospital network while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
At present, Siloam operates 41 hospitals and 73 clinics across Indonesia. Its network is supported by experienced medical professionals and cutting-edge technologies, including the Da Vinci Xi surgical robot for urology, digestive care, and obstetrics-gynecology, as well as the Cuvis robotic system for knee replacement surgery, which helps speed patient recovery.
Riady concluded that with a solid foundation of trust, Siloam was confident it could remain not only a trusted healthcare provider in Indonesia but also one with global competitiveness.
