JAKARTA, Investortrust.id — PT Aneka Tambang Tbk or ANTM appoints Untung Budiharto as chief executive officer on Monday, Dec 15, 2025 in Jakarta to refresh its leadership as regulatory changes and industry shifts intensify, a move expected to strengthen governance and strategic execution.
The decision was taken at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held in the capital, marking a management reshuffle at the state-owned integrated mining company.
PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk corporate secretary division head Wisnu Danandi Haryanto said the meeting approved changes to the board of directors, including the appointment of a new CEO. "The extraordinary shareholders meeting approved changes to the company’s management structure, including the appointment of a new president director," he said.
Shareholders also honorably dismissed Rauf Purnama from his role as president commissioner and independent commissioner. They subsequently appointed Irwandy Arif as president commissioner concurrently serving as independent commissioner.
Antam business development director I Dewa Wirantaya said the leadership changes were expected to reinforce management cohesion and competitiveness. "We are optimistic that the new management lineup will strengthen Antam’s performance and drive sustainable value creation for the company and the state," he said.
The meeting further approved amendments to the company’s articles of association to align with Law No. 16 of 2025 on state-owned enterprises. The revisions were aimed at ensuring corporate policies and governance complied with the latest legal framework.
Shareholders also delegated authority to the board of commissioners to approve the 2026 work plan and budget as well as the 2026–2030 long-term plan. Management said the delegation was intended to improve the effectiveness of strategic decision-making.
